If you have problem when installing centOS on xen server then you have stuck installation on "Switching to clocksource hyperv_clocksource", i have a solution for this problem, do following step bellow : 1. Restart VM and when grub load on the screen press tab button to edit grub add this to the end command clocksource=hpet hit enter and happy installing.... ~~>>Thanks<<~~

I have error message when istalling centOS on xen server, the error log is like image bellow; the error message is " The bootloader for this VM returned an error -- did the VM installation succed? Error from bootloader:Return code:1;Log=INVALID_SOURCE unable to access a required file in the specified repository:file:///tmp/cdroom-repo-aXKfUG/images/xen/vmlinuz" its mean that the virtual machine is not configured boot from an ISO. ok so, we find VM that we want to fix on my case my VM label is 'CentOS' then if we already know which VM that we want to fix Run this following command. #xe-vm-list you will see all list of your VM , find VM with label CentOS then see vm-uuid ok now we know the vm-uuid then run this following command xe vm-param-set uuid=7f342945-4883-fd50-a557-ff860e953a98 HVM-boot-policy=BIOS\ order HVM-boot-params:order=dc done and run your vm again... ~~>>Thanks<<~~
